The module provides descriptions of transport processes that determine mass propagation along transport paths in the environment. Mathematical principles and numerical solution approaches will be presented at selected examples of mass transport in the (subsurface) environment. A focus is set on mass transfer processes at interfaces as well as feedback mechanisms of reactive processes on flow and transport.
