The presentation will cover the topic of integrated water resources management. It will give an introduction on water as a vital resource with its global distribution. After that, a historical background on the water utilization and consumption as a function of population growth will be given. A comparison between traditional and integrated management will be presented.  Integrated water resources principles and tools will be covered with some examples and case studies.
