Content and Objective

The joint summer school of the Graduate School of Climate and Environment (GRACE) and the International University Consortium in Earth Science (IUCES) will address various aspects of water related research topics through a series of lectures and additional field trips. Basic research questions as well as applied and engineering aspects will be addressed in the challenging field between Energy and Environment. Besides lectures and field trips, the summer school features a strong individual component. Participants will present their ongoing research and get valuable feedback from lecturers and other PhD students. The summer school offers the opportunity to meet GRACE fellows from other disciplines and PhD students from other IUCES universities.

Program 

Location

The summer school will take place in Weil am Rhein. The venue, Hotel Dreiländerbrücke, is directly situated on the Rhine. Thus, the venue offers the ideal opportunity to delve into the subject of this summer school.

Participation Fee & Registration

The participation fee is 400?€. It covers the expenses for the whole summer school including accommodation, meals and transport. The registration is open until 12 June 2016.
